  • I highly recommend this cruise. Take advantage of the special pricing while it lasts. The first cruise of the day on weekends (9am) is 50% off until the end of gray whale season. We only paid $25 + $2 convenience fee for booking online. It was well worth the money. The boat is new and very clean. The crew is very friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms are very clean as well. There's a snack bar in the cabin if you forgot to bring your own snacks or drinks. We got to see see lions, seals, gray whales and bottlenose dolphins. The dolphins were a delight to watch and swam with the boat for a while. It was not crowded at all, plenty of room to take photos or videos. It was a little cold when we were out so make sure you check the weather forecast and dress accordingly because the breeze definitely makes it colder.

  • We had a great time! Heading out the air temp was about 70 but we got pretty chilled riding on the bow. We would have been happier with a sweater or jacket. Some of the "regulars" had down coats and stocking caps on! We saw a group of white sided dolphins about 5 min outside the breakwater. Then we cruised around for about an hour until we found a group of 5 gray wales. We saw blows and humps and a couple of flukes. The tour guide gave us a rundown on whale facts and kept us looking in the right direction. After following this group for maybe 10 min, we headed back to Long Beach. On the way we ran into a group of bottlenose dolphins and a fin whale. The dolphins played in the wake - but our time was up and we continued back in. Great time. They have open air seating on the front and top of the boat. The cabin has plenty of windows and a snack bar. Whenever the crew spotted anything, the boat stopped and everyone went to the rails -plenty of rail room - just saying, you won't miss much by riding in the cabin if its cold.

  • 80 degrees on Feb 1, 2018, this cruise was relaxing, informative & for $12/$10 senior ticket pricing, it is by far the best deal in Long Beach. With snacks, sodas & beer the cruise was complete along w/ a perfectly time 45 minute harbor cruise.
